Valerion has introduced a new innovation at CES 2025 for its VisionMaster Max projector, which enhances the setup flexibility by offering interchangeable lenses—a feature traditionally found in professional home theater systems. These lenses allow users to adjust the projection size and distance, catering to a variety of settings from compact living rooms to expansive home theaters, all while maintaining high image quality.

The VisionMaster Max, first unveiled by Valerion at IFA 2024, is part of a product line developed by a sister company to AWOL Vision, known for ultra-short throw projectors. The device was launched through a Kickstarter campaign last October and includes an optical zoom feature capable of projecting images ranging from 40 to 300 inches.

The newly introduced swappable lenses for the VisionMaster Max, now available for $3,999, are expected to significantly enhance its adaptability. Although Valerion has not specified prices for additional lens options, they demonstrated an alternative lens with a throw ratio of 1.3-2.1:1 at CES, suitable for larger spaces.

This upgraded projector maintains the features of its predecessor showcased at IFA, with key technological advancements including 4K triple laser technology and 3,000 ISO lumens brightness, enhanced by AI upscaling for lower resolutions. It supports high-end visual standards such as IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, and caters to gamers with a low input lag mode facilitating refresh rates up to 240Hz at 1080p resolution.

Designed as an all-encompassing entertainment solution, the VisionMaster Max includes integrated 12-watt speakers compatible with DTS:X and Dolby Audio, improving sound quality. It offers extensive connectivity with three HDMI ports, including one with eARC support, alongside Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an ethernet port for stable internet access. Running on Google TV, the projector supports apps from major streaming platforms like Netflix, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime Video.
