Roborock's Latest Mechanical Arm Robot Vacuum Revolutionizes Cleaning at CES 2025
Roborock just introduced a game-changing product in the robot vacuum market at CES 2025 with the launch of the Saros Z70, a robot vacuum equipped with a mechanical arm to tackle obstacles in its path. In addition, Roborock unveiled two new models, the Saros 10 and Saros 10R.
Revolutionary Mechanical Arm
The Saros Z70 features a foldable mechanical arm with OmniGrip technology designed to pick up obstacles under 300 grams. This five-axis arm can currently handle items like socks, small towels, tissues, and sandals, with plans to expand its capabilities over time. The robot first identifies objects it can lift and then proceeds to collect these items and clean previously missed spots.
Innovation to Solve Old Problems
The Saros Z70 addresses a common issue faced by robot vacuum users: the dreaded task of clearing small objects before running the vacuum. This prevents the robot from getting stuck, ensuring it can efficiently clean your floors even when you're not at home.
Advanced Features
The OmniGrip arm is equipped with precision sensors, a camera, and an LED light to detect and analyze obstacles. Although the feature is disabled by default, users can enable it through the Roborock app and customize its behavior, such as designating where the picked items should be placed.
Flagship Model
Replacing the Roborock S8 MaxV Pro Ultra, the Saros Z70 comes with enhanced safety measures, including a child lock and a safety stop button. It boasts 22,000Pa of suction power, positioning it as an industry leader. The robot's dual anti-tangle system and innovative mopping capability ensure a thorough clean without the hassle of tangled hair or water spills on carpets.
Additional Models
The Saros 10 and Saros 10R models were also introduced, sans the mechanical arm but featuring many flagship features. The Saros 10 includes a retractable laser distance sensor for navigating low-clearance areas and boasts the same 22,000Pa suction power and VibraRise mopping technology. It will be available this month with the RockDock Ultra 2.0.
The Saros 10R, on the other hand, features an ultra-thin design of just 3.14 inches, perfect for navigating under low furniture. It will be available later in 2025 with the Multifunctional Dock 4.0.
CES 2025 Highlights
Roborock's innovative Saros lineup clearly stood out among the highlights of CES 2025, offering a glimpse into the future of automated home cleaning. With top-of-the-line features and user-centric designs, Roborock continues to push the boundaries of what robot vacuums can achieve.
