Google’s Daily Listen AI feature generates a podcast based on your Discover feed
Google is testing a new "Daily Listen" feature that automatically generates a podcast based on your Discover feed. Daily Listen is a personalized AI-powered audio experience designed to keep you informed about topics you care about.
The feature is currently rolling out on the Google app for Android and iOS, available to U.S. users participating in Google's Search Labs experiment.
With Daily Listen, you will receive a podcast episode lasting up to five minutes, providing an overview of stories and topics that interest you. The podcast also includes links to related stories for further exploration.

Daily Listen relies on Discover, using the topics you follow in the Google app to offer a personalized audio experience.
Google compares Daily Listen to the NotebookLM's Audio Overviews feature, which creates AI-generated podcasts with virtual hosts based on shared information. In contrast, Daily Listen provides a quick summary of personally relevant topics.
If you have access to this feature, you'll find a new "Daily Listen" section on your home screen when you open the Google app. This section includes a play button indicating the podcast length, allowing you to enter the audio experience.
Once the feature is active, you can listen to the podcast with a rolling written transcript. You can scroll through "related stories" for a deeper dive into topics of your interest.
